To make a cannabis fondant cake, ideally, the temperature should not exceed 160 degrees. Beyond that, cannabinoids such as CBD or THC may degrade. 

If your Marrakesh cannabis butter has not been de-briboxyled beforehand, it is important that it cooks anyway in order to release the molecules that have an effect on your body.

Recipe for a chocolate fondant cake with cannabis butter

Ingredients

Serves 4: Watch out, depending on your concentration  Marrakech butter this cake could be intended for more people. It’s up to you to adapt the proportions.

150 grams of pastry chocolate

120 grams of sugar

3 eggs

75 grams of cornflour

30 grams of Marrakech butter

100 grams of butter

Depending on the concentration of your butter, you can more or less measure its proportion in your cake. If you don’t know the concentration of your butter, be careful. Start by tasting a small slice, then wait at least 3 hours before judging the effects. You might be surprised at the power.

What to do

  1. First, preheat the oven to 150oC.
  2. Then melt the chocolate with the butter in a double boiler, stirring gently.
  3. Pour the mixture into a bowl.
  4. Then add the sugar and mix.
  5. Once warm, add the eggs, and the cornflour. Mix well until smooth.
  6. Pour into an ovenproof container that you have buttered beforehand.
  7. Put in the oven and cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Keep an eye on the cooking.
  8. Finally, wait for the fondant to cool before unmoulding. If you’re in too much of a hurry, the fondant may leak.
