For cannabis brownies, ideally the temperature should not exceed 160 degrees. Beyond that, cannabinoids such as CBD or THC may degrade. 

If your Marrakesh cannabis butter has not been decaboxylate beforehand, it is important that it cooks anyway in order to release the molecules that have an effect on your body.

Here is a recipe totally indicated if you have at your disposal Marrakech butter, otherwise, we give you the recipe here.

Cannabis Brownies Recipe

Ingredients

For 12 parts: Watch out, depending on the concentration of your  Marrakech butter this cake could be intended for more people. It’s up to you to adapt the proportions.

  • 200 grams of dark chocolate pastry
  • 100 grams of brown sugar
  • 1/2 packet of baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 100 grams of flour
  • 125g coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 50 grams of Marrakech butter
  • 100 grams of butter

Depending on the concentration of your butter, you can more or less measure its proportion in your cake. If you don’t know the concentration of your butter, be careful. Start by tasting a small slice, then wait at least 3 hours before judging the effects. You might be surprised at the power.

What to do

  1. First, preheat the oven to 160oC.
  2. Then melt the broken chocolate in a double boiler. Then add the butter, mixing gently.
  3. Separate the whites from the egg yolks and beat the egg yolks with the brown sugar until the mixture is frothy.
  4. Stir in the egg yolks chocolate and butter as well as flour, yeast, and then, if desired, the nuts. Mix it all up.
  5. Turn the whites up in snow. Halfway put a tablespoon of brown sugar. Beat until firm, then gently fold into the chocolate mixture. 
  6. Pour the mixture into a rectangular dish that you have buttered beforehand.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes. Allow it to cool before unmoulding and cutting the cubes.
